Description
Original UK 1966 mono copy of The Beatles - Revolver released on the Parlophone label PMC 7009. This is a 2nd pressing variant with Dr. Robert on the label in a laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd sleeve ( see photos)
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in the amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up sparkling clean with numerous scuffs, marks and hairlines visible ( see photos). The labels have spindle trails visible. Graded G+ visually but it playtested better, closer to VG Side 1 & VG+ Side 2 - see notes below.
We played the album through entirely and it played with good sound quality, a warm & vibrant mono sound with good detail. NO jumping or skipping - the record played through as it should with background noise/crackle more apparent on Side 1, much less on Side 2.
The flipback laminate sleeve is in reasonable condition with shelfwear to seams, some creasing & age related corner rubbing. A small area of wear-through to the top. Good readable spine. The obvious issue is "colourful penmanship" to both the front and back ( see photos)
The record is in a heavyweight Emitex type inner sleeve.
Low auction start to reflect overall condition.
