Grading in accordance with record collector accepted standards:-
Mint (M) -Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainlynever been played.
Near Mint (NM) - A nearly perfect record. Rarely if ever played. Sleevehas no defects.
Excellent (EX) – Almost NM but with signs of very lightusage. Sleeve will have no more than very minor marks.
Very Good Plus (VG+) - Will show some signs thatit was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care ofit. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffsor very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Thesleeve may have some wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
Very Good (VG) - Surface noise will be evident upon playing,especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will notoverpower the music. May have some light scratches and swirls. Cover will havefew defects or discolouring.Good (G), Good Plus (G+) - Gooddoes not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto aturntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significantsurface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve willhave seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine.
Poor (P), Fair (F) - Will be cracked, badly warped, and won't playthrough without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged,split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP coverbarely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled,and written upon.
