Description

You are bidding on a really nice mono copy of The Beatles Revolver album. Believe this is a first press with the coveted XEX605/606 black and yellow Parlaphone labels. Matrix numbers are XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 606 - 2. Uncorrected Dr Robert on reverse and label. I'm not a dealer but would describe condition as very good used. Over 50 years old so not going to be pristine. Outer shows signs of use/wear but still in great condition for age with no splits. Has previously had a small 21 drawn on front and back in biro. On the front this was just below the word Mono. On the rear just above the PMC. Barely noticeable. Biro gone but small indents there ( highlighted for integrity purposes and tried to picture) Vinyl itself shows signs of wear / use but nothing to detract from playback and still sounds fantastic with very little in the way of pops or crackles. Garrod and Lofthouse print. Comes with inner. Can't guarantee this is the original but could well be. Small tear on centre film as pictured. This is a played, enjoyed but well cared for copy that would grace any collection. Good luck
