Description
This is a stereo 2 LP Japanese pressing of The Beatles record Rock ‘N’ Roll Music (UK Version). It was issued as #29 in the series on 07/05/1976 by Toshiba EMI LTD on black vinyl. This series was only released on black vinyl. There is a double LP in a gatefold cover with an OBI. There is also a 26-page booklet with photos and the lyrics in English and Japanese and discography that is in mint- condition with no bends or tears. The record is from my personal collection and was initially cleaned on a VPI record vacuum and treated with Last Record preservative. It was recently demagnetized and re-cleaned with an Audio Desk Ultra-sonic record cleaner.
The record was recently play graded using a Lyra Kleos on a VPI Classic IV turntable. Sides 1, 2, and 3 are in mint- condition with no scuffs or scratches and plays very quietly with only 3 light tick noted on side 1, 2 noted on side 2, and 4 noted on side 3. Side 4 is in very good condition with several small, light, random scratches at the end of Back in the USSR which results in 3 light ticks during the jet fadeout into the blank space. There was only one additional tick on that side and there are no other scratches. Record 2 also has a slight edge warp.
The jacket is in excellent condition no tears or seam splits, but does have some slight compression in the lower right corner. There is also some ring wear due to the metallic nature of the jacket. The record also comes with 2 black inner sleeves. The OBI is in mint- condition with no bends or tears. The insert has is excellent as noted above.
I will be selling off some of my Japanese Beatles collection over the next few weeks. Please be sure to look for more of my listings from this series of 41 LPs issued by Toshiba EMI between 1976 and 1982. I have a complete set and will eventually be listing them all.
