RARE U.K. MONO PRESSING of "RUBBER SOUL" from the Brad Bell collection (Brad was a Cleveland based record industry guy).
This is the page for the 2nd mono G&L print Roman type pressing. Matrix info: XEX 579-5 GL 2/ XEX 580-5 GA 2. The matrix number printed on the label aligned or misaligned to the datestamp, different printing companies and subtypes. This one is misaligned to the datestamp.The mono covers of the 2nd pressing were manufactured by G & L or Ernest J. Day. G & L sleeve has the words "TRADE MARK OF THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." under the Parlophone logomark, but E. J. Day have not. Inner sleeve: Tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut sleeve. Flipback cover.
