This is the page for the 2nd mono G&L print Roman type pressing. The Second pressing of “Rubber Soul” has the “normal” cut matrixes XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-4 and has the matrix number printed on the label aligned or misaligned to the datestamp, different printing companies and subtypes. This one is misaligned to the datestamp. For the G&L print Serif type with the matrix number printed on the label aligned to the datestamp, see [r4419753] For the Ernest J. Day print Serif type with the matrix number printed on the label misaligned to the datestamp, see [r375379] 'KT' stamped on the centre label side B. The mono covers of the 2nd pressing were manufactured by G & L or Ernest J. Day. G & L sleeve has the words "TRADE MARK OF THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." under the Parlophone logomark, but E. J. Day have not. Inner sleeve: Tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut sleeve. Flipback cover.
