Description

A 1st pressing of 'Rubber Soul' on the UK Parlophone label from 1965. Matrix 1/1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-) Has seen a moderate level of use, but still remains in great condition. Please be aware that there are a number of marks on both side - none of which are significant or cause issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. This Lp plays back way way better than it looks and that is a testament to the quality of the early Parlophone pressings. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is very very limited - just a touch of light static in a couple of places. I was absolutely bowled over by this rendition. Please note one of the labels has been autographed.
Cover (Vg) Still in nice condition, but is exhibiting a bit of ageing now. There are no nasty tears or serious creases. Please note the rear has been signed twice. Edge wear is not significant. All flipbacks are intact as is the text on the spine. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
