Description
The Beatles Rubber Soul.
1965. PMC 1267. Mono. “Loud mix.” First pressing. XEX-579-1. XEX-580-1.
Stamper codes. Side 1: 3, GA. Side 2: 3, GA “Sold in UK” credit. “The Gramaphone Co. Ltd.” KT tax stamp.
Using the Ebay and record Collecting guide: The record was obviously my mum's favourite record and shows signs of it's 47 years of age.
Original EMI inner sleeve is between 'Fair and good' condition. It has 'Rubber Soul - Beatles' written on one side in blue biro and the other side has a split in the middle as per the pictures.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Patents pending Sleeve is also between Fair and Good condition. On the front cover there is scuffing and the laminate is cracking very slightly on the edge. On the reverse there is slight damage as per the pictures
The Vinyl is 'Very Good' I've listened to the audio and although there is a slight back ground crackle the record neither jumps nor skips and plays throughout. The label on side one has had a name sellotaped across it, thankfully this fell off though there is still signs of the tape residue as per picture.
