Description
Complete and original mono UK 2nd pressing of The Beatles 6th studio album, Rubber Soul.
This copy is complete with original front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve. The vinyl has the original black and yellow Parlophone labels. The record is complete with the original Emitex inner sleeve. The second pressing is widely recognised as having the best audio quality of all pressings.

Condition:
Vinyl: GOOD +
Visually the vinyl is glossy and clean. There is a noticeable scuff to side 2 and several other visible marks to both sides. The labels are without writing and have minimal spindle wear. GOOD+. The audio is pleasant, slightly noisy lead-ins to both sides and the same in between tracks. Crisp vocals and punchy bass as is expected from an early mono recording. There are several pops but nothing too obtrusive. No skips or jumps. GOOD+.
Sleeve: GOOD+
The front retains a glossy finish with bright colours.The image has lifted in two small areas on the opening edge. The rear is clean with just a couple of small marks. There is no sign of ring wear, fully readable spine with just a couple of laminate ripples, top and bottom edge with and corners with just mild rounding. Superb!
Inner Sleeve: GOOD+
The original polythene lined, die cut Emitex inner sleeve is included. It is slightly discoloured, has a small seam spilt on one edge but still holds a record. Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
