Rubber Soul

Reel to Reel Tape Capitol L 2442  7-1/2 IPS

The Beatles progressing as song writers on this great 1965 release on the rare reel to reel format at the prefered 7-1/2 IPS speed. Unique to this reel to reel is that the song order has been changed with "Wait" going to side one and "Michelle" going to side two. This Ampex tape comes housed in a blue box that has a very tiny spit on the side thumb tab. The front picture has wear mostly within the first inch around the edges. The back is white with black text and contains the general age staining/discoloration that most white backs do. The tape is VG, clear with a white label that has a ripple. There is also an Ampex Tape Catalog insert in the box. Please refer to the scans to get a better idea of my descriptions. Rubber Soul was also released as a two for reel, "Rubber Soul/Second Album" that I will post later for those of you who collect them all. Also, I will and have been posting almost every Beatle reel released, 7-1/2, 3-3/4, 7", 5", some UK reels, solo reels and Beatles related.
