Description
I am selling more BEATLES LPs (duplicates) in nice condition from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.
In this auction:
· “THE BEATLES SECOND ALBUM” by the Beatles
· This LP is Capitol Records ST - 2080.
· This LP was issued in April 10, 1964.
· This is the FIRST STEREO PRESSING.
· This FIRST STEREO PRESSING, according to Perry Cox, has the LABEL VARIATION that OMITS THE RUNNING TIMES for the songs “Long Tall Sally” and “I Call Your Name”.
· The VINYL was pressed in Capitol Records’ Scranton Pressing Plant. This is indicated by the “?” in the trail-off wax.
· The COVER is ALSO from the Scranton Pressing Plant based on the number “3” on the rear cover at the lower right corner.
· So, the Scranton-produced VINYL MATCHES THE Scranton-produced COVER.
· The COVER is graded VERY STRONG VG+ Condition. There is just light overall wear on the front cover and very light wear on corner at the bottom of the spine and on the lower right corner at the opening. There are 3 very small corner pushes. The rear cover has some small stains at the lower center area. (It is very hard to find this primarily white cover without evidence of wear, and this one has just minimal wear.)
· The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION. There are some light surface hairlines/scuffs mostly on Side 2. The Vinyl has lots of gloss!
· AND this LP comes with its ORIGINAL BLUE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE that was issued with first pressings of this Beatles’ title. (It’s the correct inner sleeve for this pressing.)
A nice ORIGINAL FIRST STEREO PRESSING of this BEATLES CAPITOL LP to add to your vinyl collection!
