Description
The Beatles' Second Album ~ Rare first press Scraton Plant ~ Mono Capitol T2080 1964
First Press Indicators (Source: Perry Cox and Frank Daniels - Price Guide For the Beatles American Records.)
- Side 1 runout has the the ? indicating it was pressed at the Scranton Plant which was first pressing
- Matrix / Runout (Label A): ?2 TX1-2080 H17
- First pressing of this release has no timings for "Long Tall Sally" and "I Call Your Name" on side 2 vinyl
Matrix / Runout (Label B):R TX2-2080 F15
label and large emerald green blurb on cover stressing that both "She Loves You" and "Roll Over
Beethoven" are tracks included on the LP.
Vinyl is VG+ and plays very well.
Cover is VG + except that there is a clean split on the bottom edge for which I downgraded to VG. I
have deliberately made no attempt to fix the split so as not to degrade the value.
