Description
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band Parolphone Records 1967 first UK mono pressing 637 1/ 638 1 with K T tax stamp on the label on side two
What else can be said that hasn't been said about this album that broke all the rules and has and still does inspire musicians all over the world to this day.
There's a term used with books that should be read for students "mandatory/required reading", that term couldn't be more useful here for Sgt. Pepper,it's a brilliant masterpiece and I and many others think….The best record ever made and should be a mandatory/required album to have in ones record collection…And yes the mono version,it's the way that The Beatles heard it as they recorded it and how they heard it when it was being mixed for release.
This record grades an easy EX++ and most would grade this beauty Near Mint to Archive.
****Please note, this is the rarer and more desired pressing, with no track separation.
This fabulous groundbreaking gatefold flip back record cover grades an easy Excellent+.
Contains the original cut out insert in Excellent condition (see scans).
Also comes with the original "Patents Applied For" inner sleeve, designed by The Fool, which is also in Excellent condition.
Overall, a nicer copy of this record, would be very hard to find and if so it wouldn't be at this price.
I've been collecting records for over 52 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
