Here we have my own personal copy of "Sgt Pepper" bought by me in 1967. It is a first pressing in stereo PCS 7027 matrix YEX 638. The record has the standard yellow block writing Parlophone label and the "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd.". The label displays the "Sold in the U.K." statement.
I have tried to take care of it during all these years, it has been kept in a plastic sleeve so the cover is excellent plus the cardboard cutout insert is in super condition.
The disc itself is OK, bear in mind that 40 years ago we didn't realise the value of vinyl and this has been played a lot (as it deserves to be) but it still sounds fine. Side 2 has a scratch across it but it is not too severe.
I have recently bought the Beatles mono box set so this deserves a good home. It will be safely packed in a cardboard mailer. P&P £3.25 mainland UK
