Description

Sgt Pepper a 1st pressing from 1967 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -1/-1. The record comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included are the original cut-outs. 
Cover (Ex) A remarkably well preserved cover. Shiny front and rear with very little wear showing at all. The opening edge's are still reasonably sharp. The text on the spine is still all legible unlike so many others. It also maintains really good rigidity - difficult to find in much better condition than this....   Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) Has been carefully looked after down the years, but has clearly seen moderate use. There are a number of light marks visible, but nothing really feelable or troublesome. A through testing from beginning to end reveals an Excellent level of playback on Side 1 and a VERYGOOD+ level of playback on Side 2. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with really good clarity.  Side 2 still plays really nice, but from around the midpoint a few of these marks are starting to cause a few crackles [but nothing too intrusive]. This LP still makes for a fantastic listening experience - just as the Beatles originally envisaged it!
Cut-Outs (Ex+) Pretty much 'as new'....
