Description

The Beatles

Sgt. Peppers lonely hearts club band

12 inch Vinyl LP Record

33 1/3 RPM

Folded cover/ case

This was bought quite by chance at a recent car boot sale from an elderly gentleman. This record was in amongst a suitcase of books and records which was bought for the books. When I got the case home, I sorted through it's contents and this was one of about 20 records. At first I thought it was just an ordinary record but on closer inspection saw that the cover was signed in 5 different places. The top left is inscribed "to bobby love from the beatles" and over each figure there is each Beatles signature I believe. Again I first assumed that it was made like that but you can actually see indentation where each word/ signature is written when you look sideways on in the light. It looks like it has been signed in pencil but I cannot be sure.

The actual record itself is a 1967 Parlophone Portuguese version but the doublefold cover is a British example and states copyright 1967 on the rear of the cover.

This is perhaps one of the most speculative items I have listed on eBay.

I do not have much knowledge of records and I am listing purely on the information from the record itself. I have no guarantee of provenance and cannot understand why the record is Portuguese yet the cover is British. I have not had the chance to research this item and hope that those with knowledge in this field will appreciate it.

I will let the buyers make up their mind and will list without reserve.

I simply do not have a clue about this and the details have purely been taken from what I can see on the record itself.

There is a number on the record which is: 8E 064 - 04177 and is dated 1967. Side A has 7 songs and side B has 6 songs.

I hope that helps?

If there are any questions, please ask, although please bear in mind that I can only help you with what I can see on the record itself; my knowledge is very poor in this field.

Will send within uk and to verified address only.

The interior when opened out shows a picture of the four Beatles.

I have relisted this record as the previous buyer did not pay after asking me to end the item early.

Please no timewasters or scammers- I only post within the UK and will only ever send to the address registered with PAypal.

Thanks
