Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by The Beatles titled Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on Parlophone PMC 7027. This Mono copy is pressed on the very collectable Yellow and Black Parlophone label. The label has “Sold in UK...” and “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” text statements on it indicating first pressing, the label also has KT tax code on side 2. What makes this record RARER most is that it has the Wide Spine, not many had this. Also has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in EX- condition. Tiny trace of light/minor background noise/static, which is only really noticeable on the run-ins/outs and between the tracks. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. couple of light pops. There are a couple of hairline scratches, which don’t affect the sound quality, apart from one extremely tiny one on side one that causes 4 extremely light clicks, which are barely audible.
SLEEVE - The laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. Tiny trace of spine wear (text is all readable), some wear to corners. NO Tears, NO splits, there are a couple of light creases. There is a small peel mark on rear (see photo) where a sticker I think once was, and there is also a small peel mark on the inside top right corner (again see photo). NO Ring wear. It still has retained its lovely shinny/glossy finish (see photo), NO Writing or Graffiti.
EMI inner is in EX condition, NO Writing or Graffiti. NO Rips, Tears or Splits. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the original red and white ‘fool’ inner.
INSERT - Is graded at EX condition, NO Writing or Graffiti. NO Rips or Tears.
Label’s are in Near Mint condition. NO spindle marks, NO Writing or Graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
