Description
In this auction is a RARE ONE, for sure! And you may want to check out my other auctions, too, for more BEATLES VINYL.
In this auction:
· “SHE LOVES YOU” b/w “I’LL GET YOU” by The Beatles
· This is Swan Records S-4152.
· This record was issued in 1964 or 1965.
· “She Loves You” b/w “I’ll Get You” was the ONLY BEATLES RECORD ISSUED on the SWAN RECORDS LABEL.
· This pressing has a flat black label with silver print.
· Quotation marks are around both of the song titles which are in W I D E print and the words “DON’T DROP OUT” appear on both labels.
· This is a RARE “ARP” PRESSING. “ARP” is stamped into the matrix in the trail-off on both sides.
· “AudioMatrix” is also partially stamped in trail-off on both sides.
· The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION with several very light hairlines/scuffs (none “feelable”). There is a small sticker stain on the A-side label on the black and silver band on the right side of the play-hole.
· Here is a RARE U.S. ARP PRESSING of this trademark Beatles hit, “She Loves You”, on the SWAN LABEL (which did not sell well initially) in nice condition. If you collect Beatles records, you know how tough it is to find this particular pressing in decent condition.
· This record is significant!!! It’s one of the BEATLES’ EARLY SINGLES that helped make their name known in the U.S. market!!!
