THE BEATLES: SINCERE GOOD WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR – A 1963 ORIGINAL UK OFFICIAL BEATLES FAN CLUB 7" FLEXI 45 IN ITS ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE - LYN 492

ONLY 25,000 EVER PRESSED, COMPLETE EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE FIRST UK BEATLES FAN CLUB FLEXI

The FIRST and the RAREST of the Official UK Beatles Fan Club Christmas Flexi discs to have been released, 'Sincere Good Wishes for Christmas and The New Year' was issued by the Official UK Beatles FAN CLUB in 1963.

The 7" Flexi Disc is on the Official Custom, Blue Print on a White Background, Beatles Fan Club label, printed with the catalogue number LYN 492 and Official Beatles Fan Club logo.

The official stamped matrix in the trail out groove reads LYN 492-1U.

The Disc is protected in its ORIGINAL thin card Yellow Gatefold Sleeve which incorporates the Official Fan Club National Newsletter No. 2, Christmas 1963, which is printed within the Gatefold. The first paragraph of the Newsletter confirms that this EXCLUSIVE disc will NOT be made available elsewhere and states that only 25,000 have been pressed.

The Custom ‘Fan Club’ Label is in EXCEPTIONAL near mint condition – This is a remarkably NEW looking, BRIGHT,UNDAMAGED label. The white background is surprisingly VERY CLEAN, and there are NO signs of handling marks. The 7" Flexi Disc playing surface is excellent condition’. The Gatefold Sleeve is also in excellent condition with NO handwriting, there is some light creasing to the sleeve, but nothing major.

Certainly an EXCELLENT all round example of this hard to find and now EXTREMELY COLLECTABLE Official UK Beatles FIRST FAN CLUB Xmas Flexi – hard to comprehend that it was pressed more than 45 years ago. One can only speculate how many have actually survived around the world today!
