Description
I am selling a number of BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions for something you may like.
IN THIS AUCTION:
· “SOMETHING NEW” by the Beatles
· This LP is Capitol Records T - 2108.
· This is a MONO (Monaural) PRESSING.
· This LP was issued was issued July 20, 1964.
· According to Perry Cox, this LP was pressed at Capitol Records’ Scranton plant based on the number “3” on the rear cover at lower right and based on the triangle with IAP inside etched in the trail-off wax. Therefore, this #3 Winchester cover and Winchester vinyl are correctly matched.
· NOTE: Some sellers will switch vinyl and covers either intentionally or accidentally in order to create a near mint but mismatched item to sell. This is the correct cover and vinyl for this pressing/issue.
· The COVER is graded VERY STRONG VG+. Only a hint of wear at the bottom of the front cover and some slight aging of the white reverse cover kept me from grading the cover Near Mint.
· This primarily black cover was prone to show wear very easily and is often found showing wear. However, this one has been well-protected over the past 50 years. Seams and spine are perfect!!
· The VINYL is GRADED NICE VG+ with just some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.
· The vinyl comes with its ORIGINAL BLUE CAPITOL RECORDS INNER PAPER SLEEVE which is the correct sleeve for this LP. The sleeve has a 5-inch split on the bottom.
· A nice ORIGINAL MONO BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection!
