Description
This is a Japanese pressing of The Beatles record Something New (US version). It was issued as #18 in the series on 07/05/1976 by Toshiba EMI LTD on black vinyl. This series was only released on black vinyl. There is a single LP in a gatefold cover with an OBI. There is also a 1 page insert with the lyrics in English and Japanese that is in excellent condition with no bends or tears. The record is from my personal collection and was initially cleaned on a VPI record vacuum using Disc Doctor fluids and treated with Last Record preservative. It was later cleaned with Audio Intelligent fluids and more recently it was demagnetized and re-cleaned with an Audio Desk Ultra-sonic record cleaner. The records are in excellent condition with no scuffs or scratches and they play very quietly with only a few light ticks over both sides. The jacket is in very good condition with no seam splits but there is some slight compression on the corners and has a cut-out slit along the upper right corner. There is also some slight yellowing of the cover which is common to these Japanese issues from this period. I will be selling off some of my Japanese Beatles collection over the next few weeks. Please be sure to look for more of my listings from this series of 41 LPs issued by Toshiba EMI between 1976 and 1982. I have a complete set and will eventually be listing them all.
