Description Up for auction is The Beatles Story vinyl 2 record set.
This set is in great condition all around. It is contained in a Capitol Records gate-fold sleeve that is still sealed on three sides by the original plastic wrap with a partial sticker remaining. Aside from very slight dents in the open corners and a little rubbing in the red print on the bottom the sleeve is in incredible shape.
The vinyl is in very good condition as well. It is on the Apple label with the "STBO 2222" designation. Imprinted on the vinyl is "mastered at capitol" along with the scratch etchings "STBO - (side indication) - 2222 - G - 8". There are no scratches I see that would affect playability. Maybe just superficial marks from removing from the inserts. They are some of the shiniest vinyl records I have ever seen.
I do not grade my vinyl recordings but I do describe them to the best of my ability. I do not have the ability to play these so I cannot comment on the sound quality. I would be happy to inspect them further and photograph close-ups of details I missed in my initial posting. Please email me with any questions or concerns before bidding.
