Description
Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! If for any reason you are not happy however I do offer a 100% money back promise providing ofcourse the item is returned in the condition it was sent in. Thanks for looking!
The Beatles ‘THE BEATLES (AKA THE WHITE ALBUM) SUPERB COMPLETE MONO 0048581!
*LOW numbered copy complete with 4 portrait photos/ black inners/ poster!*
SUPERB CONDITION!
Finding a mono copy of the Beatles 1968 self titled album (or the White Album) in complete and unabused condition is getting harder and harder each year, also finding one with a number below 0100000 is incredibly tough, this one boasts a low number of 0048581, and is in nice solid and complete overall condition, with its ORIGINAL black inners/ poster/ photos, along with its correct mono discs . (Relisted due to an auction format error- apologies to original bidders it will stay this time!)
LP information:
Catalogue Number: PMC 7068
Matrix Numbers: XEX 709-1/ 710-1 711-1/ 712- 1
Mother/ Stampers: 6/GMM, 2,6/GRA, ?/ GGR, ?/MH
Condition:
Outer Sleeve: A very nice example of this so often destroyed top opening sleeve- the all important number is clear and unfaded and structurally the sleeve is superb- the only slight fault perhaps being some bumping to the opening of the sleeve along some light inevitable age yellowing (this I must stress is light- and is actually far more white than the majoritive of original UK white albums now are!), the embossed 'THE BEATLES' logo to the front is clear of damage all corners are solid perhaps just a very minumum of rubbing. Excellent Minus.
Side One/ Side Two: Both sides are clear of any serious or offending marks- under bright light just a few light general handling marks present, NOT a coating and both sides are in nice solid playing condition, the audio is clear and powerful with no wear, very low level and uniterfering background in certain quiet areas but nothing heavy. Very Good Plus.
Side Three/ Four: Again similar to the first disc- onlya few light general handling marks present which are completely non feelable play is solid, no distortion/ groove wear, full rich mono audio- some very low level background audible in certain quiet areas but over all a very solid disc. Very good Plus.
Labels: A few trails present to all sides but no wear. Excellent Plus.
Photos: Excellent Plus.
Inners:Some slight fraying to the top opening edges but no splits or serious creasing. Excellent
Poster: Excellent
