Description

** We have recently acquired a nice collection of Beatles albums and singles, all originally purchased by the same person when the records were released.  Please feel free to check our other Beatles auctions, there are some nice early pressings and Fan Club Christmas singles as well.  We always combine shipping costs! **

 

Artist :  THE BEATLES 

Title :  The Beatles Third Christmas Record

Label :  Lyntone/Parlophone / LYN 948 / 1965

Matrix Numbers :  LYN 948-1Y

Notes :  One-sided flexi-disc issued only to subscribers of The Official Beatles Fan Club in December 1965, contains various spoken messages and festive tunes!  Housed in thin card sleeve with folded Newsletter insert.

Condition :  The vinyl is clean with some hairline scuffs (most probably from being moved in and out of the sleeve), we are playing through this disc now and the sound is VG with a few little ticks and crackles here and there plus some distortion during louder moments.  It's a good, listenable record!  The record label is clean and unworn.

The sleeve has some discolouration from age, with a few marks from handling to the rear [see photos].

The folded paper insert has age discolouration and a number of stains [please see photo].
