Description
This is a stereo Japanese pressing of The Beatles record The Beatles Beat (German version). It is a Japanese reissue of an LP that was originally issued in Germany. This is the only version of the record that was issued in Japan. It was issued as #33 in the series on 04/05/1978 by Toshiba EMI LTD on black vinyl. This series was only released on black vinyl. There is a single LP in a non-gatefold cover with an OBI. There is also a 4-page booklet with notes in Japanese and the lyrics in English and Japanese that is in excellent condition with a slight bend along upper left corner. The record is from my personal collection and was initially cleaned on a VPI record vacuum and treated with Last Record preservative. It was recently demagnetized and re-cleaned with an Audio Desk Ultra-sonic record cleaner. The record was recently play graded using a Lyra Parnassus on a VPI Classic IV turntable with a 3D arm.
The record is in mint- condition with no scuffs or scratches with only 1 light tick noted on side 1 and 1 on side 2.
The jacket is in excellent condition no seam splits but does have some slight compression on the upper right and lower left corners. There is also some slight ring wear at the front bottom center. The OBI is excellent but has a few wrinkles on the back flap edge. The insert has is excellent as noted above.
