Description
From my private collection: The Beatles - The Beatles (US Audiophile 2 x LP MFSL 2-072).
Highly sought after 1982 Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs half-speed master from the Original Master Recording series, specially plated and pressed on high definition vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd. Records in original anti-static rice paper inner sleeve and MFSL stiffeners, with four prints.
Visual Goldmine grading: Records both NM, outer gatefold sleeve NM, prints NM. Note that I will only grade as Mint if an item remains sealed.
Audiophile vinyl purchased new in the late-1980s. This is an outstanding pressing sourced from “The Original Stereo Master Tape”, as included in the legendary Dr. Ebbetts series of needle-drop CD-Rs. Has been stored in a protective sleeve since my purchase. Will be posted within a sealed plastic bag in a Music Max record mailer (see photo).
