Such recordings are bought up by independent labels for a fee, digitally enhanced and edited where necessary, and are then subsequently transferred to Vinyl, CD or DVD as appropriate. The quality of the sound may reflect the era in which the recordings were made but the vinyl quality is assured although coloured discs and picture discs naturally have a lower quality than standard black heavyweight vinyl.
