Description
Original 1965 U.S. Capitol Records release of The Beatles – “Ticket To Ride” / “Yes It Is”, Capitol 5407, complete with the original period picture sleeve.
This is an early U.S. Capitol pressing with the original East Coast straight-cut picture sleeve. A great example for the Beatles collector looking for an original 1965 single with its period sleeve rather than a later replacement.

The runout markings are hand-etched:
Side 1: 45-X-45219-P3 A1
Side 2: 45-X-45220-P1 A1
The deadwax has been photographed closely so collectors can examine the matrix markings for themselves.
Condition
Record: VG+ (visually graded)
The vinyl presents well for its age with light surface marks/scuffs consistent with a 60+ year-old record. I do not see any obvious deep scratches or significant damage in the photographed playing surfaces. Labels are clean and attractive.
Picture Sleeve: VG
Original 1965 Capitol picture sleeve with good overall color and presentation. There is expected age and handling wear, including edge/corner wear and other signs of storage. The sleeve also has the period handwritten ownership name “Lynn Castagnoni” on the front.
The same name is handwritten on the record label, and the writing has been left exactly as found.
