Description
I am selling some duplicates of early, rare, and rather obscure Beatles LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions too.
In this auction:
· “THIS IS WHERE IT STARTED” by The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and the Titans
· This LP is Metro Records MS-563.
· It is a MONO (Monaural) PRESSING of this LP.
· This LP was released August 15, 1966.
· This is a repackaging of the MGM album “The Beatles With Tony Sheridan And Their Guests” (which I have listed in another auction) less 2 songs by the Titans.
· This is an MGM Bloomfield pressing, because “Side 1” is left of the center hole.
· Please refer to the image of the rear cover for listing of the songs on this LP.
· Here is an early U.S. Beatles pressing when ALL of the record labels (except Capitol Records, of course) were trying to find, gain the rights to and release any and every recording made by The Beatles!
· The VINYL is in VG CONDITION. There are a number of light surface hairlines/scuffs but the vinyl has lots of gloss! A name is written lightly on one label.
· The COVER is in VG CONDITION. There is overall wear which includes: a name written in ballpoint twice on the cover, The letter “A” written at the bottom of both front and rear slicks, “HM” and a check mark also written on the bottom of the rear slick, corner wear, clear tape at the bottom of the spine and at the bottom of the opening, 2 ½ inch nicely repaired seam splits on top and bottom seams at the opening, aging on the rear white slick near the opening, and a small rippled spot beside the Metro Records logo on the front cover where a sticker was removed. Sounds like a lot of blemishes, but check out the images and you’ll still see that the cover is quite presentable.
It’s a HARD-TO-FIND PRESSING of this Metro Records Beatles LP to add to your vinyl collection.
