RARE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM

UK 1968 FIRST PRESSING MONO. ( TOP LOADER ) with the embossed  ‘THE BEATLES’ and  the albums individual number to the front. This one is number: 0177024   This Album is in  GREAT all round condition and comes with 100% ORIGINAL PRE – DECEMBER 1968 COMPONENTS. Comprising-

FOUR FIRST PRINT PHOTOGRAPHS  ( Glossy card stock )& ORIGINAL SPACER !!
FIRST PRINT POSTER- Garrod & Lofthouse heavier stock, lipstick poster with the                          EXTRA WORDING, ( ‘I LOVE YOU ‘) printed  in red from                                           South to North across the lipstick part of the poster..   Note; Only the very first print run posters carry this extra wording.   KT TAX CODES TO  THE CENTRE OF ONE DISC! VERY RARE!   The Beatles ‘ WHITE ALBUM ‘

Matrix Nos,    Disc 1,   709 –1,    710 – 1.       Disc 2,    711 –1,    712, - 1. All 4 labels carry the ‘ SOLD IN THE UK SUBJECT…..’ label text above the spindle hole.
Disc labels Side 4 carries the KT Tax Code to the centre.   CONDITION;
DISC 1;      LABELS,            * EX+*       * EX+ *
Both labels are in super condition, all the lettering and background colour looks perfect.
DISC 2;      LABELS,            * EX+*       * EX+ *
Both labels are in the same super condition as disc 1, side 4 label clearly shows The KT Tax Code to the centre.   There are some very faint spindle marks as been played a mere handful of times and I am only stating for accuracy.   DISCS 1 & 2; VISUAL,       In normal daylight,        * EX *       * EX * Both sides are very glossy and retain there original sheen, the only marks are a surface mark towards the end of side 2 which is NOT FEELABLE AT ALL and does not affect play on my Technics and the same on side 4 at the start which again is not feelable at all.   The sound is super and is a real thrill to listen to. Both discs lie flat with no warping or distortion.

All 4 photographs are FIRST PRINT RUN PRE - DECEMBER 1968  and are printed on thicker stock than the later ones,  The Portraits carry darker colour images with more light and dark shade. They are all in wonderful original condition.   ORIGINAL SPACER ;           MINT-
This is indeed a rare survivor and is very hard to find with an original copy as most of them were Immediately discarded as superfluous to the album.   POSTER;       VG
This is the ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRINT RUN POSTER, by Garrod & Lofthouse and printed on heavier stock, with the lipstick and EXTRA WORDING  ( as described above ). The Poster is in original condition, It is a lovely FIRST PRINT example.   BLACK INNER SLEEVES ;      GD+ VG
As serious collectors will know these ORIGINAL  black die cut inner sleeves were Made from very flimsy lightweight paper , simply not up to the job of carrying A heavy vinyl disc. BOTH  these ORIGINAL  black inners have survived.  
SLEEVE ; 
This Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated top loader sleeve GREAT CONDITION WITH A LOVELY CLEAN HIGH GLOSS LAMINATE SHEEN..  It carries the embossed ‘ THE BEATLES ‘ and the individual number 0177024  to the front bottom right.   CONDITION; 
FRONT;              VG The front panel is in Very Good condition, there is no laminate lifting and the BEATLES embossing is very clear. There is some rubbing to the top and the bottom corners but only very minor and some light ring wear.
SPINE ;         * GD/VG Stiff and clear with some lamintate lifting.
BACK PANEL ;      VG Same as the front, no laminate lifting with slight rubbing and ring wear   INNER GATEFOLD ;       * EX   It is an excellent investment for the serious Beatles collector and can only continue to  Appreciate in value, Very hard to find in this condition with all original components. This is difficult for me to part with as a collector but I have a small son and money is not as forthcoming as it used to be!   I have tried to describe all aspects of this superb example in detail, but should you have Any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me and I will try to answer them.
