Description

The BEATLES   WHITE ALBUM         Mono PMC 7067/8

No. 0091957  in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition.

COMPLETE with original BLACK inners, POSTER/lyric sheet and portrait PHOTOS.

COVER:

The TOP OPENING UK 1968 release gatefold MONO cover is in EXCELLENT condition. It has a few scuff marks on the front and the two bottom corners have suffered a few bumps along the way. The embossed number 0091957 is clear although it has lost most of its grey print. The inside gatefold is very clean and unmarked and it has a very clean and proud spine.

VINYL:

XEX 709-1 (4  GM)  XEX 710-1 ( 3 GGP)

XEX 711-1 (1 GH)   XEX 712-1 (1 GL)

Both records do not have “An EMI Recording” on the labels. Sides 3 and 4 have mother stamp 1 on both sides. The vinyl does have some surface markings and scratches after 45 years but the records play through smoothly with just a few clicks here and there, nothing too distracting. VG+ overall. You cam play these records LOUD and enjoy them!

The DARK GREEN APPLE LABELS from 1968 have no writing or stickers on them but side 1 has a slight grove/scratch around the outside of the label, not sure what caused this but it’s not very noticeable anyway and side 3 has a 2 cm light scratch mark at the top possibly caused by an errant stylus. There are spindle markings visible but nothing excessive.

The BLACK INNERS are in VG+ condition. One is frayed at the edges with a small rip at the bottom. One is slightly better with no rips. Overall fine examples, still intact and usable after 45 years.

The POSTER is intact along the folds and opens out nicely. It has had a bit of handling wear over the years but is still in VG+ condition.

The four portrait PHOTOS are excellent examples and have no creases or marks.
