THE BEATLES – “WHITE ALBUM” (SWBO-101), A 1968 ORIGINAL NUMBERED (0737770) RELEASE IN HIGH VG+ GRADE! 

RECORDS:  VG+ on the high end of the scale with full original gloss! This album saw little play time, but not so little as to entirely avoid a few light scratches and surface scuffs. I played this album in its entirety and the sound was fantastic! Absolutely no loud “ticks”, “pops”, skips or annoying repeats. Both records are simply beautiful. Many people would call the records VG++, but I want to stay conservative here. The labels are super clean with no writing or stickers; just a few very light spindle marks noticed. Side 1, Track 6 reads “THE CONTINUING STORY OF BUNGALOW BILL”. The very earliest of copies read simply “BUNGALOW BILL”. Side 2, Track 5 reads “ROCKY RACOON”.               

COVER:  VG with number 0737770 stamped into the lower right corner area. There is a 2-inch seam split at the lower left corner of the first pocket as well as a ½-inch split to the upper right corner of the same pocket. The second pocket is affected only by corner wear and some edge wear, primarily at the top. Some bending of the upper right corner of both pockets is observed (please see all photos). The spine is smooth, consistent and fully legible. As with about 95% of these white covers, ring wear is evident on both sides. The inside of the gatefold is very clean and original. There is no tape, writing, stickers or staple holes anywhere on this cover. This is a really nice set! Read on…

INNER SLEEVES:  Original, plain white.

FOUR INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS:  The GEORGE HARRISON and RINGO STARR photos are NM; very clean & glossy with no hard bends, creases or frayed corners. Some record impression is visible. The JOHN LENNON photo is VG++ with just some mild wear/bending to the two lower corners. Very clean & glossy! The PAUL McCARTNEY photo is VG+ with just a couple of handling bends. Still clean & glossy and it might still grade VG++, but I want to stay conservative!

LARGE FOLD-OUT POSTER: VG+ with only a couple very short splits from being folded and/or stored in the cover. There is absolutely no actual tears, writing or other graffiti present. Very nice!  

INNER SLEEVE:  Plain white.
