PLEASE READ PAYMENT AND DELIVERY DETAILS CAREFULLY. IMPORTANT.

The Beatles; WITH THE BEATLES, WITH (near mint) EMITEX (polythene lined). Tested. Audio Excellent. Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back. Jobete mis-press. The much rarer darker sleeve. ‘Gotta Hold’ to sleeve and label, and the ultra rare MT tax code embossed to side 2.

PLAY TESTED. ABSOLUTELY NO SKIPS, JUMPS OR STICKING. AUDIO EXCELLENT. SUPERB.

Complete and original U.K. Album, issued by Parlophone (yellow & black labels) in 1963. (PMC 1296) Mono. ‘Parlo’ Co. Ltd’ perimeter print and ‘Recording First Published’ 1963. Incorrect ‘Jobete’ publishing credit for money. Housed in the original polythene lined Emitex inner. MT tax code to side 2. Matrix numbers XEX 447-1N & 448-1N.

This is the true first press. ‘Jobete’ credit, ‘You Really Gotta Hold On Me’ credit to both sleeve and sleeve. Large Mono to the Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve. Matrice Numbers 447-1N & 448-1N. Whilst this copy, even rarer, as it has the MT, rather than KT embossed tax code to side 2

Also housed in the original Polythene lined die-cut inner Emitex ‘protect your records’ inner sleeve, which all first press copies were housed in, as opposed to the tracing-paper lined inner.

AUDIO: EXCELLENT.

The heavyweight vinyl has very little crackle/surface noise/static on intros/run-ins, and even less in between or during tracks. The bass is punchy, vocals well defined, and the instrumentation clear. Absolutely no skips, jumps or sticking. Audio grading overall of minimum excellent, and approaching near mint at times. Superb.

VISUAL: VG+

VG+ playing surfaces, with sine marks/hairlines/light scratches, as you’d expect from a 60yr old record.

SLEEVE: VG+.

THE RARER DARKER ROBERT FREEMAN COVER, WITH JUST THEIR RIGHT EYES VISIBLE.

(Please see photo 20 as an example of most ‘With The Beatles’ front photo sleeves, which are lighter in tone).

The front laminate retains much of its original lustre, and deep dark colour. It does have some faint ringing, a tiny amount of creasing, and some feathering (see photo 16).

The rear is graffiti free, though with a few marks, age ware, and a little scuffing. There’s no significant lifting of the Garrod & Lofthouse flip-backs. Track listing shows ‘You Really GOTTA Hold On Me’, as it does on the label.

All four corners are strong, as is the spine, with just a little creasing and scuffing.

EMITEX POLY-LINED INNER - NEAR MINT

The original poly-lined inner, is in great shape. No seam splits, graffiti, or tares. There’s barely any creasing, with the vinyl housed inside an audiophile quality anti-static inner, to protect the record. Near Mint.

LABELS: EXCELLENT.

Side 1:

Clean, graffiti free, bright, and next to no spindle ware.

Side 2: MT EMBOSSED TAX CODE.

As above, but with noticeable spindle ware, and the rarer MT embossed tax code.
