The White Album
Near Mint Vinyl & Photo Set
YEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
This is a superb copy of The White Album, bought in 1969/1970, just after the last numbered LPs, but still with the First Press and sought after -1 matrices. Later issues had -2 or -3 or even up to -6!
The vinyl seems to me to be virtually unplayed, as far as I can see, with no marks or signs of play at all.Whilst I cannot say that it is totally Near Mint, I suspect the vinyl is as close as one can get, with Excellent Plus as a back up! Looking at all four sides, the only marks appear to be the usual 'paper rubs' of simply taking vinyl out of the paper sleeve.
Its Mothers & Stampers are, respectively, Side 1, '2' & 'GTA' or '193', Side 2, '6' & 'RMM' or '244', Side 3, '2' & 'RPD' or '260' and Side 4, '7' & 'RRP' or '226'.
The Garod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is full laminated and un-numbered, being a little later and is still very white, clean, crisp and un-marked and un-damaged, with a sharp and little opened spine. Obviously this does show the usual ageing of the colour, from white to a cream and its card just mellowing, inside, with little real wear, though
It has the plain white EMI inner sleeves, with Copyright and Care instructions, which are crisp and clean, with no marks or dmagae.
It has the four photo-card inserts, which are in really superb condition, having no pin hopes, tape or blue-tac on them. Sadly yhere is no poster with this, though!
Sales and postage to the UK only and please bear in mind, that it will be sent Second Class Recorded, unless it acheives a price above £50, when it will be posted First Class Special Delivery, which will cost a littl more, so, please wait until I invoice you, but I will only charge what Royal Mail charge me.
Thanks.
