The Beatles - White Album 1st press 1968

Excellent condition

PCS 7067/8 Number 0486886 Stereo 1/1/1/1 matrices

Sold In U.K. with NO EMI!

Original 1st press top loading copy of the The Beatles (White album), very rare now to find a copy in anything other than played to death condition.

I will grade each part individually

Cover - EX+ Has the usual creamy discolouration that affects all copies of The Beatles and light outline of discs. Has slight creasing on the spine, no tears or rips, fully intact. This is the original top loading version, with Garrod and Lofthouse lamination and flipback covers.

Photos - EX All photos are 1st print and are uncreased and have no pin holes.

Poster - VG+ Has slight creasing and still retains overall luster, no tears or rips or cellotape marks, no pin holes.

Black Inners - G These have not faired as well as the rest of the package, the inners are the originals and they have creases and a couple of tears around the hole on each inner.

Vinyls - EX Both discs show little signs of being played, they retain all the luster and shine of these heavy early discs. They sit flat with no warping and have only slight hairline paper marks. No jumps or skips on all four sides just wonderful full stereo sound with minimal light crackle and hardly any crackle between tracks!

Labels - EX All four labels are clean and have minimal spindal lines. No writing on any label. Most importantly all four sides omit the 'An EMI Recording'

This double LP also has all the hallmarks of a 1st pressing as it also has the earliest possible 1/1/1/1 1st press matrix endings and the first press dark green apple labels.

This will make someone very happy and will be a pride of place addition to any record collection.
