The Beatles (White Album) –1st Pressing Mono
Stamper Numbers Side 1 XEX 709-1, Side 2 XEX 710-1, Side 3 XEX 711-1, Side 4 XEX 712-1
This record was purchased by me in 1968 when it was first issued.
I have test played the record and it sounds very good and plays well without any skips or jumps. It should be noted however that there is a scratch at the beginning of side two which produces an audible click for the first 30 to 45 seconds on the first track. Other than that there is the odd pop and crackle which is to be expected on a record of this age and a couple of surface scuffs which do not appear to affect the overall sound. There are also some spindle marks around the center of the records.
The top opening cover (No. 0037912) is in good condition while the black inner sleeves have a few creases but are intact without any splits.
The poster/lyric sheet and four photographs are in excellent condition.
