Up for grabs is this vinyl double album by The Beatles. Entitled The Beatles (aka The White Album), it was originally released in 1968 (the first pressing had a top opening numbered gatefold cover and black inner sleeves). This copy is a stereo issue, slightly later pressing which dates from around 1969/70. The labels have both "An EMI Recording" text (on two lines) and "Mfd. in U.K." text above the side number and no "Sold in UK..." text. All four sides have the earliest -1 ending matrix numbers (see pressing details below).

The records are housed in a Garrod & Lofthouse individually numbered, side-opening, fully laminated gatefold cover (this copy is number 230336) and white Apple inner sleeves (see pics). Also included is the Garrod & Lofthouse giant poster with lyrics printed on the reverse. The four pictures are not present. On the Apple label, the catalogue number is PCS 7067-8.

Condition

The vinyl is in Very Good condition on Sides 1, 2 and 3 and Very Good Minus condition visually on Side 4 as there are a couple of more noticeable marks on this side. These are not audible though and playback is very good throughout.

The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest of spindle marks. The Side 3 label looks as though it has some vertical scuffs at the bottom (see pic) but these lines are actually in the label's printing.

The white Apple inner sleeves are in Very Good condition with some creasing but no tears, splits or writing(see pics).

The giant poster / lyric sheet is in Excellent condition.

The fully laminated, side-opening gatefold cover is in Very Good Plus condition. It only has minor corner wear and a few very light laminate creases with a slight grubby ring wear mark on the left side of the front cover (see pic). The spine is complete with clear printing (see pics).

All my vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system. Please check my GRADING GUIDE to see a description of each grade. If any item has any writing, stickers, sticker marks, tears etc these will always be mentioned along with the grading. All records are sent in custom-made mailers, with stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits.
I have been trading since 1988 and all my items are strictly and honestly described.
