Description
The Beatles - The Beatles (White Album) This is an original UK copy with a numbered top-loading sleeve (#0137220).
Sleeve has general wear to edges, slightly creased corners, a split bottom-centre and damage to the spine (please see pics). G+.
Record 1 (sides A & B) is stereo, matrix numbers YEX 709-1 and YEX 710-3. B-side label has a "withdrawn from sale" stamp on it. A few lines are visible if held to the light. It plays well with some light crackle that is almost entirely buried by the music. A comfortable VG that mostly plays better.
Record 2 (sides C & D) is mono, matrix numbers XEX 711-1 and XEX 712-2. It has a number of lines and scuffs, mostly non-feelable, but a couple (two on Side C and one on Side D) are feelable. Despite the marks it plays well - some crackle is audible between tracks but largely buried under the music. Some recurring pops during Mother Nature's Son and occasionally elsewhere, and it sticks once during Helter Skelter. A conservative G+, but mostly better again.
