Offered is The Beatles White Album on the Apple label, SWBO-101, issued in November 1968
This is the genuine first pressing with all 7 labels errors! 1. Side 1 Oblidi-Oblada 2. Side 1 Bungalow Bill 3. Side 2 Why Don't We Do It In The Road 4. Side 2 Rocky Racoon 5. Side 4 Revolution No. 1 6. Side 4 Revolution No. 9 7. Side 4 Goodnight This 2 LP set is pressed In L.A. * The laminated album cover is a true first printing from Bert-Co. (LA) Leading A followed by a space, then the 7- digit serial number. The first "batches" were printed with serial numbers between 0215001 to about 0580000. The number for the L.A. cover at my auction is, A (space) 0262801.
As to the four color photos they have nothing printed in the "Printed In U.S.A." logo. The original poster features a "Rights" statement on the lyrics side.
The all important Matrix numbers are as follows:
Side 1 SWBO-1-101 A 34 * Side 2 SWBO-2-101 A 36 *
Side 3 SWBO-3-101 A 36 * Side 4 SWBO-4-101 G or B 37. The letter is faded. I will be glad to answer any and all questions about this Beatles rarity. Sides 1&2 are graded between VG and VG+
Sides 3&4 play VG with occasional light surface sound. There is a quick jump on Track 2 Side 3. All the records have non-feelable scuffs and scratches that do not alter the play-through ratings listed above. All four labels are graded VG++ to Excellent. The 4 colored photos are in Excellent condition; however the poster is Good+ at best with separations at the fold creases. The poster is still in one piece though.
The cover has seam splits top and bottom 1 to 4 inches in length.
