The Beatles - White Album LP (with inserts, no.69837)

The Beatles - White Album LP (with inserts, no.69837)

This is a VG- condition LP by The Beatles called The White Album, released in the UK by Apple Records in 1968.  This is the mono issue, catalogue number is PMC7068 and PMC7067.
This copy is very nice although has lots of bits to describe.  I will try to go through as thoroughly as possible.
VINYL:  VG-  Still has original shiny factory finish however shows several faint hairline marks and some light surface marks.  You will get clicks, crackles and possibly pops due to these marks but I don't think they should be too intrusive.   Side 4 has a particularly obvious mark over tracks 1 and 2 but I cannot feel it.
LABELS:  The labels are VG+ as they are free from damage or pen marks however they do have lots of faint spindle marks.  The labels also say "Mfd. in UK." and "Sold In U.K." at the top.   It looks like this LP was much loved and played alot but it's also been taken reasonable care of over the years.
FOLD OUT POSTER:  VG-  The poster is very nice with some very light wear on corners/edges.  This wear does make small holes in the poster at the junctions and a small split on the fold at top and bottom edges.  Otherwise,  there are no other holes or tears in the poster.  The poster does look handled with small bend marks on the back but there is no evidence it's been hung up (no pin holes or blu-tack/tape marks).  It does feel quite fragile when unfolding.
PHOTOS:  VG+   The photos are very nice with virtually no corner/edge wear.  The surfaces are still glossy and clean.  There is a very small (1 cm) and faint crease in each photo at the same spot.  They are invisible if looking at the photos straight on but can be seen when held at an angle.
SLEEVE:  VG-   I'm very picky when it comes to grading sleeves and since this LP is quite sought after, I might not have the same opinion as you.   I will do my best but, to avoid any disappointment, please please please ask questions!!   I'm going to be very conservative and try to describe it as accurately as I can.  Please refer to the photos including the one of the spine.
This is a top opening, laminated gatefold sleeve which has some light corner/edge wear.  It has several nicks in the open edges but nothing too obvious or nasty looking.  The sleeve outer surfaces are slightly yellowed with age and show very faint ringwear.   There is a scrape mark on the front near the top right corner and some very tiny blue spots on the back (I assume from rubbing against another sleeve).
There is some laminate lift around the raised "The Beatles" name.  There is a slight bend in the bottom right corner and corresponding crease marks in the back side.  There are only a few small creases in the outer edges (which is normal for a sleeve of this age).
The spine has the worst of the wear.  Please see the photo.   The laminate is lifting completely off the spine and you can see that there are some bits sticking up.  This is about 3/4's of the spine.  The top 1/4 has lifted from the spine but is not broken like it's shown in the photo.   The spine printing underneath is intact and readable.  There is no significant wear on the exposed printing and the laminate lift does not affect the front or back surfaces.
This is labelled number 69837.

Please email if you have any questions.  I will try to answer everything within 24hrs and will happily provide more photos upon request.

If you are planning to bid, please take a moment to read the details below and be an informed buyer.  Above anything else, please email me if you have any questions.

SELLER RATINGS:   Please realize dispatch time is NOT the same as delivery time.  I cannot control the post office.  You are meant to rate MY dispatch time... meaning the time from your payment to my posting.  Due to some buyers not understanding this, I am likely going to lose my Top Seller status which means my items will be harder for you to find and might cost you more to buy.

POSTAGE COSTS/TIME:   Ebay is not my primary employment and therefore I cannot get to the post office every day.  I will post within 5 business days of cleared payment.  Please make sure you are happy to wait at least 6 days (UK) for your item before bidding.  If not,  please don't bid.  I do not post on weekends or holidays.

I use heavy mailers with stiffeners and plastic sleeves which are included in the postage.

All items will have Proof of Postage.  Anything over £35 will be sent recorded delivery.  Please wait for revised invoice!  I don't mind sending regular 1st class with proof of postage if you want, however, this is at your own risk and I will not refund you if the item is lost.    However,  if something is lost, proof of postage will be provided and claims will be filed with the post office.  You will not be left hanging!

Will combine postage for multiple items.  If you are buying more than one item, please wait for your invoice.

AMERICAN BUYERS:  Stuff is taking up to 8 weeks to get to you. Please keep that in mind.

RETURNS:  Quite simple:  For any reason you aren't happy, send it back to me.  If I messed up - full refund including return postage.   If I didn't mess up - refund of purchase less postage.  Email me with anything,  I'm flexible so just give me a chance to work things out.

ITEM CONDITION:  All items are used unless otherwise stated.  I do my best to describe everything as accurately as possible but I'm human and do get it wrong sometimes.  I will happily accept returns with full refund + postage when the item is received in the condition it was sent.  I am using the Record Collector grading guide and only visually grade.  I note general condition and will specifically describe any additional flaws not in keeping with the grading.  IE:  A generally excellent+ record with only one or two small, faint hairline marks will be graded excellent+ and the mark will be noted.  Any records I'm not sure about, I will listen to and note in the description.

After reading all this, if I make a mistake, I would appreciate not receiving bad ratings for item description as I am an honest, independent seller and am trying my best.  Please contact me with questions before bidding and I will provide extra photos of sleeve, spine and record condition upon request.

Please feel free to email if you have any questions or concerns as I will happily do what I can to resolve.

Thanks and good luck.
