Description
The Beatles White Album No. 2808138 Incl. Poster Portraits Shrink Wrap and a Very Rare Hype Sticker with the Song Titles in black ink (more rare than the common blue ink sticker). Condition of jacket and LPs is "Good". Album plays but there is surface noise and there’s a small tear on the front cover. There’s a 1” seam split on bottom of front cover and 4” seam splits on the top right of each jacket. Run-off area on vinyl Side 1: SWBO 1 - 101 -J58 #8, Side 2: SWBO 2 - 101 J45 #3, Side 4 SWBO 3 - 101 J47, Side 4: SWBO 4 - 101 J44 #2. I acquired this copy in the mid-90s with a bunch of first-issue Capital and Apple pressings. The shrink was tucked away inside and I have found nothing to convince me that this sticker doesn't belong or that this is a Frankenstein--I believe that the sticker and wrap belong with this pressing. The shrink wrap has two breath holes (circled on one of the pics). Experts say it should have three, but that is not the case with this example (and I've never seen evidence that this sticker was counterfeited).The jacket seems to be from Queen Litho's 2nd print run and the pressings are from the Jacksonville plant Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
