Description
The Beatles White Album 1968 UK MONO LP Top Loader No: 0123862
COMPLETE with ORIGINAL BLACK die cut inner sleeves, paper SPACER/DIVIDER (which rarely survive), Beautiful set of PHOTOS and a POSTER/LYRIC sheet which looks like it has been kept in its folds since 1968.
This is a RARER CROSSOVER pressing with NO 'An EMI Recording' text on side 1 label, but with 'AN EMI RECORDING' text on sides 2, 3 and 4 labels.
STAMPERS AND MATRICES:
XEX 709-1 (1 GP). XEX 710-2 (1 GAA). XEX 711-1 (5 GRR). XEX 712-2 (4 GAM).
Both LPs and their labels are in super condition for its age. Relatively clean unmarked vinyl, just a few very minor surface marks. Lovely CLEAN labels. These LPs play a very conservative VG+ and I hate being conservative but on this occasion I will!! You can see from the photos what great condition the LPs are in. I took these photos close up so some environmental flick and fluff is on some of the vinyl but can easily be cleaned off.
BLACK INNERS: Excellent, just mild wear at the die cut hole, including a slight tear. No splits or tears around the edges. SPACER: The fragile paper divider is present and in excellent condition. PHOTOS: They look NM POSTER: Fabulous, clean condition, no rips, tears marks etc.
The TOP LOADING gatefold cover No. 0123862 is a VG+ example. Yes it has some slight discolouration and ringwear on the back and there is some handling and age markings with some corner and edge wear. The inside is very white and clean and has obviously been carefully handled and well looked after.
OVERALL this is a great WHITE ALBUM PACKAGE from 1968 and a definite keeper for your Beatles collection. The LPs are kept and will be packaged in replacement inner sleeves to maintain the quality of the original black inners.
All my auctions start LOW with NO RESERVE.
