This German 1st MONO pressing of 'A Hard Day's Night' dates from initial July 1964 release on the Odeon label: O 83 739
As with all 1st pressings, the rim text on both begins with the words: 'Alle Rechte...'
Matrix numbers: XEX 481- & XEX 482-1

Housed within a front laminated German printed cover with English text on the rear panel

Clean & unblemished with just a handful of very faint spindle trails around each centre hole
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with some superficial light surface marks consisting mainly of the wispy paper-type,consistent with inner-sleeve removal
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
A 1st-class sounding pressing which easily matches the UK edition. This copy has received a moderate amount of play but is free from any significant deterioration to the sound quality. The only distractions to catch my ear during the playcheck were 3 clicks on 'Any Time At All' and a couple on the fade of 'You Can't Do That'. There are no jumps, repeats or any ay further audible distractions on this great sounding disc.
Cover: VERY GOOD
Fully intact with light/moderate handling & storagewear but no major faults
Both seams are smooth & unstressed with just touch of wear to one letter of the spine text
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
