The Beatles - Yellow Submarine album
- Apple SW-153
- Spizer cat. no. APP 153.SR1S(c) / SC
The B-side is all George Martin-penned, instrumental incidental music from the film. It's actually a nice listen, if you are into that sort of thing.
The Yellow Submarine LP went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Albums chart on March 1st, 1969, for one week.
Record EX Cover VG+
Vinyl ConditionThe vinyl is play graded a Excellent (EX) due to very little noise and lots of gloss on the vinyl.
Both labels are clean. However, the side 1 label was not placed well at the factory, as can be seen in the pics.
Cover Condition
The cover is graded Very Good plus (VG+) due to slight discoloration, despite the fact that it still has most of its original shrink wrap (it is partially torn off). There are also a couple of stains on the back cover (left edge, and a tiny one that John is actually pointing to at the top). Seams are all great though.
No rips, tears, writing or stickers
Inner Sleeve Condition
The original white inner sleeve has tears on all three sides, but is included for completeness. I will package the record in a new generic sleeve, however.
Careful Packaging
Record will be packed in standard cardboard mailer with cardboard filler pieces on each side. Vinyl will be removed from the sleeve (where applicable) and placed in a generic sleeve to help prevent damage due to jostling during shipping. Both will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve. I've bought a couple hundred records on eBay recently and I've seen how bad and how good packaging can be. Trust me, I will do what I can to make sure your record gets to you undamaged!
