This is a GORGEOUS 2nd State Butcher variant of The Beatles "Yesterday and Today."
The overlay was previously peeled from the bottom right corner about an inch or two, which was how I immediately recognized it as a true butcher. Back cover has some pen writing in a few places and some light ringwear and staining, though there's no spine splitting with fairly sharp corners for its age, and overall I would grade the sleeve at SVG/WVG+.
The vinyl however is UNBELIEVABLE! VERY few light marks, only a handful on each side.
I can tell that it was well taken care of. I didn't even clean it before taking photos or playing it other than a quick dust wipe, and there was some light crackle in the dead wax at the beginning and in between tracks, and the occasional light tic or light crackle here and there, but overall the sound is AMAZING, so I'm sure it would sound even better if given a nice ultrasonic bath.
I would recommend that the winner also buy insurance for this item, considering it's high value. Once the item ends and the final price is locked in, then I could give an accurate USPS insurance quote.
This is a wonderful piece of Beatles history and an absolute grail. Get it while you can!
