IN THIS AUCTION: 

·       “YESTERDAY AND TODAY” by THE BEATLES  

·       This LP is Capitol Records T 2553.

·       This LP was issued June 20, 1966.

·       This LP is a MONO (Monaural) LP which is designated by the letter “T” that precedes the catalog number on both the cover and the labels.

·       This is, of course, the second cover for the “Yesterday and Today” LP that replaced the cover known as the “Butcher Cover”. (This is not a paste-over or “second state” copy.)

·       The COVER is in NICE VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. (Only slight aging near the opening of the white reverse cover keeps me from grading this cover Near Mint.)

·       This PRIMARILY WHITE COVER has always been very prone to show even the slightest bit of wear and a difficult cover to find in this NICE, CLEAN and WHITE, CONDITION without wear, staining, or soiling. As you can see, this cover is a beauty! (Check the Images!!)

·       The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG CONDITION. There are some light surface hairlines/scuffs with lots of gloss.

·       The VINYL was pressed in Capitol Records’ Scranton Pressing Plant. This is indicated by the “?” in the trail-off wax.

·       The COVER is ALSO from the Scranton Pressing Plant based on the number “3” on the rear cover at the lower right corner.

·       So, this is the CORRECT MATCHING VINYL for this COVER.

·       This LP comes with its ORIGINAL ORANGE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE that was issued with first MONO pressings of this Beatles’ title.

·       IT’S A VERY NICE BEATLES MONO PRESSING of this Beatles’ title to add to your vinyl collection!!!
