Description

The Beatles, Yesterday and Today: On Toffee Cream coloured Vinyl and with the “Butcher” Cover.


For sale is a facsimile copy of the infamous, US only, first edition “Butcher Cover” of the Yesterday and Today LP on Capitol. It comes in resplendent toffee cream coloured vinyl!


Obviously, if this was the real deal, or even one of those examples that had the replacement cover “peeled” to reveal the original ‘bloody’ cover, I would be starting the bidding around £1k and upwards! It’s not, I’m not so lucky, so I won’t…. It is what it is, a talking point.


I can only provide a visual grading but, and baring in mind this is coloured vinyl and they don’t always provide the best sound reproduction, both the vinyl and cover are in near mint condition.
