Description
You are bidding on a very rare copy of this early US Beatles release.
This record contains the first state/pre lawsuit track listing, and the first state back cover that features 25 small album covers in color... known in Beatles collectors circles as "the ad back"
Condition:
I do not professionally grade records so I will describe it to the best of my ability. This is definitely a lower grade specimen, but perfect for the collector who cant drop a few thousand to own a mint copy.
Sleeve:
Front cover -
The cover image is pretty clean with a few minor creases, and the original owners name written in pen above the "T" in Beatles. The lower seem is completely split, with some minor damage visible on the front of the cover. Minor shelf wear to spine and top seem. No ring wear
Back cover -
Slight shelf wear/minor scuffing but art color is still very bright.
Vinyl:
Side 1 -
A handful of light scratches on the record itself, and discoloration around the immediate area of the spindle hole
Side 2 -
A few scratches, discoloration around the spindle hole, and the owners name written on the top of the label
A good professional cleaning would benefit the record greatly.
