I've been a Beatles collector since the day "Meet The Beatles", my 1st LP, was released in 1964 and probably have 10 or more copies of everything they recorded. Here's your chance to grab a good one.
Up for auction is the LP "Meet The Beatles" in Stereo. This LP has "Beatles" in green print so it was a 1965 release. This one and the other Beatles LP I'm listing tonight are the best condition Beatles records that I have except for my MFSL box set. I never grade any LP that I list as in better than VG+ condition for the simple reason that even one "tick" would negate a M- grading.
LP Condition: I play grade all LPs that I list so that there are no surprises. No spindle wear, no scuffs and perfect labels. The condition of this LP is almost spotless except for a hairline scratch that extends through the first 3 songs of side one that is NOT even worth mentioning, having no effect on play. I'm a perfectionist so I have to mention it. If there is even ONE "tick" on this LP anywhere, I missed it. A truly fine copy of this LP. For the collector, this is the least valuable of the 2 I listed tonight and the opening bid will reflect that. This auction is for the person who wants a pristine sounding copy of this classic LP in Stereo.
Cover Condition: Just a slight hint ring wear on front that is much more pronounced in the photo than in reality. The back shows "tanning" around the boarders. The start of a seam split in top right corner of about 1 inch. The cover is not as bad as I'm making it sound but as the seller, I'd rather you received an LP in better condition than expected.
The original owner of these 2 LPs threw out the paper inner sleeves and stored the LPs in poly-paper sleeves available at the time (I used to buy these same quality sleeves) so the original inner paper sleeve is not included. A poly outer sleeve is included, which is how I store my better LPs.
I consider the value of this LP to be at least $60 but will start the bidding at what I paid for it. You decide the price. NO reserve.
Shipping will be media mail in a new LP mailer. I will combine shipping so you only have to pay once but wait for an invoice if you win more that one auction.
