This is a RARE 1964 Beatles Album with a typographical error on Track 2, Side 2 of the Capitol Records ~ Rainbow Label.  
This is the first issue of the revised STEREO label with a misspelled song, "I Call YOU Name" and it is also without the running time of the track on the label.  See track 2 on side 2.  Capitol Records quickly caught the label error so there are not many of these that were released.  This manufacturing quality control incident in the album production is documented in Bruce Spizer's, 2007 book ~ "The Beatles Swan Song Book"
This album is from my personal collection.  I purchased the album in 1964.  This album is possibly the scarcest Capitol Records "rainbow label" variation that was produced at the Scranton, PA Manufacturing Plant.  The pressing plant designation is on the back of the album cover ~  #3 is in the lower right hand corner, next to the RIAA logo which designates Scranton.  
The stereo pressing of this title is considered to be more rare and more preferable than the mono version because the mix on the stereo version is more graphic and the sound resolution more precise and the channel separation adds a whole new dimension to the the music.  Also the stereo mixes are slightly different than the mono version.  It is estimated that mono versions of this record outnumber the stereo versions by a ratio of 10:1.  
The cover is thick cardboard which was the American style.  
Machine stamped Matrix Numbers are in the Dead Wax.

The vinyl has been tested and played and is graded as a VG++.  This rating is just a notch below Near Mint.  The Vinyl looks impeccable without any MAJOR visual flaws or or imperfections.  The original luster is intact and the vinyl shines.  Two 'Pops" are noted at 1 minute, 3 seconds into the song, "You Can't Do That" which is the final track on side 1.   
The album and cover are in Excellent condition.  The record comes with the original inner sleeve.  The original first version of the stereo cover has the statement of the back side of the cover at the bottom ~ "Should Be Played Only With A Stereo Cartridge And Needle To Avoid Damage" 
This album stands as the groups best pure rock & roll album with a fast and driving tempo along with a strong mix of R&B and because the compilers avoided inserting any pop ballads (a preference of Paul McCartney) that usually slowed down the group's early albums.  Several covers of black American artists are featured, including Little Richard's, "Long Tall Sally" ~ Chuck Berry's, "Roll Over Beethoven" and the Smokey Robinson composition, "You Really Got A Hold On Me" and Barrett Strong's, "Money"
